Let's talk

Websites for Chicago Small Businesses

I'm Doug Rosenberg, a Chicago-based full-stack developer. I build custom websites for small businesses, and I'm glad to meet at your shop in Chicago or work remotely. Projects typically run $750–$3,000, and every engagement starts with a free discovery call.

What You Get

Designed Before It's Built

UI/UX design in Figma before a line of code, so you see and approve the site before it's built.

Fast and Accessible

Responsive builds with a WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility baseline, and performance checked with real tooling instead of eyeballed.

Someone You Can Reach

Direct access, no ticket queue. Ongoing support runs $300–$800 a month if you want it after launch.

In Person or Remote

Based in Chicago and happy to meet at your shop. Remote works just as well if that's easier.

Recent Small-Business Work

Sonus Construction Group

An editorial-style site for a multi-family renovation contractor whose real audience is investors and developers vetting a partner.

Hardware Etc LLC

A bulk-materials supplier's site built to read as credible to spec-writers and to be fast for crews checking specs on-site.

Common Questions

Can you meet in person?

Yes. I'm based in Chicago and happy to visit your shop. I also work remotely with clients anywhere, so location isn't a requirement.

What does a website cost?

Custom web projects typically run $750–$3,000, scoped after a free discovery call so you know the price before any work starts.

What do you build it with?

I build custom sites with Astro, Blazor, or Angular depending on what the project calls for, and I've also built on Squarespace when that was the right fit for the client.

Do you help after the site launches?

Yes. Ongoing support covers updates, security patches, bug fixes, and small enhancements for $300–$800 a month, with direct access to me.

Every project is scoped individually — reach out and let's talk about what you need.
